What device permissions does Cheffy require?

Cheffy requires access to a few core device features to give you a fully interactive, hands-free cooking experience.

  1. Microphone
    • Allows you to talk hands-free with Cheffy while your hands are busy handling raw meat, kneading dough, or chopping ingredients.
  2. Camera & Images
    • Enables you to upload photos from your phone or desktop to show Cheffy what's in your fridge, pantry, or grocery haul, or to troubleshoot a step in a recipe.
  3. Speaker & Keypad
    • Used for audio guidance from Cheffy (enhanced nicely if you connect a Bluetooth speaker) and typing quick text responses or email addresses via the chat panel when your kitchen gets loud.
